It looks like the sort of damage caused by pressure on the panel, has it been exposed to such force? This can happen from leaning your weight on the panel pressing hard on the display itself or placing heavy object on it, by pressure while in say, changing location or storage etc. If so, no it can't be fixed, must be replaced.

To be sure you get the right replacement panel you need the exact number for your screen this is on a label on the back of the panel itself. If you search for the model of your BENQ you can probably find a guide on how to do the repair here or on youtube. Just searching for a replacement panel by model might still end up with the wrong one because sometimes different hardware is used in the same model so look for the number of the panel instead. Let me know if you need more help.
