PowerBook A1106 / A1138 logic boards compatible?

My fully working A1106 1.67Ghz Powerbook has a dead RAM slot- I sourced a replacement tested logic board (very cheap!) but since discovered it is for an A1138 model. Is this at all compatible with the 1106? -TIA

Thanks for the reply.

For future reference I can confirm that these boards are not compatible - they are the same physical size but that's as far as it goes. Everything else about the machines they come from is different - dc board, sound board, cable locations etc.
