How would you fix the left bumper?

The left bumper on my Series controller stopped clicking. The bumper now just squishes and does not record the button press.

I'd probably guess that replacing the bumpers would help. iFixit sells replacement bumpers here. There isn't a repair guide for this, but you can follow this disassembly guide up to the part where the bumper is removed, swap in the new bumper, and then follow the video in reverse to reassemble. If this doesn't work, your best bet is most likely just sending it to Microsoft for repair, or even just buying a new controller.

Usually just try to replace it (it's actually cheap and available) but if you don't have a good soldering skill you will have nightmares with it
