Retrieving documents from another computer

I have a custom-built gaming desktop computer that beeps continuously when I turn it on so now I have a newer gaming computer but would like to retrieve files from the first computer. How do I do this if the other one doesn't turn on?

Julie Lafountain the easiest would be to remove the storage HDD from computer one and place it in an external USB case. Then you can take it and connect it to computer #2 via USB cable and access the files. We would need to know what HDD is in computer #1 to suggest which external case since it has to match the Hard drive connector. Most likely something like this would work.
