What do I need to replace on my tv
My tv has a cracked screen with green lines going across it and keeps turning on and off

For starters the screen will have to be replaced as it cannot be repaired.
After that you will have to see what's still wrong (if anything) to know what to check next.
The problem with doing this is finding a replacement screen. Look for the make and model number of the screen on the back of the screen itself and search for that. You may be lucky. If you do find one then don't be surprised that it can cost nearly half as much as a new TV.
An option then to consider is to advertise your TV as faulty screen - good for parts to try and recoup some of the cost towards a new TV. Working boards are always in demand.
