Replaced battery, not charging and shuts off when disconnected

I just replaced the battery in my early 2013 13" Mac Book Pro Retina. Followed all of the iFixit directions. Battery percentage shows the lightning bolt like it's charging (says 0%). When I initially plugged it in the orange light was on, but now it's green (still shows 0%). When I unplug from the power source it turns off immediately. I reset the SMC, but nothing changed. Did I do something wrong during the install?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Make sure the battery in plugged in properly, Those connectors can be a bit tough. if that doesn't work test your original battery in the laptop, if that works you most likely have a faulty replacement battery.
