Broadcast fuzzy when light switched on

Whenever I switched on the ceiling LED light the radio broadcast became fuzzy with static interference but not so when switched off the light. And this only happened with that one particular light but not with other similar lights in the house . I tried to disconnect the earth wire but it didn't help. I also tried replacing it with another unit of similar type but problem persisted.

A lot of cheap LED bulbs do this, so you probably put a bulb in that caused the same problem. Radios and cheap LED bulbs do not mix, ever.

You need to look for more expensive bulbs like GE or Feit Electric, especially with a radio.

Hi

Did you change the LED driver (aka LED transformer) or only the LED light?

If only the LED light then most likely the problem is with the driver.

The driver is what converts the AC input to a DC output to power the LED light.

I did change the driver as well but it did not fix the problem.
