My screen is glitching from blue spots to just a black screen.

So it happened in the middle of the night and the dark parts of my phone was blue but i overlooked it but that was a huge regret. It went pitch black and i was worried, i looked at videos, none of them were relevant to the situation i was currently in , i restarted my phone and powered off and on. I assume it was because i dropped it on its back side, and on the screen. What should i do about this?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hi @whereiscat ,

All you can do is to open the phone and check for any loose connections or obvious damage due to the phone being dropped.

If all appears to be OK as a DIY repair then the next step would be to temporarily replace the screen and check if it now works OK or not.

Here’s the ifixit Samsung Galaxy S9 Display Replacement guide that shows what to do.

If doing this seems too daunting, contact a reputable, professional mobile phone repair service and ask for a quote to fix the phone.
