1 Turning off when unplugged from charger
Hello,
I have a flip z3 and as soon as I unplug the charger it turns off, says battery 100 when plugged , but when unplugged just turns off, PLEASE HELP

Just received a customer's phone today which has the same problem. I opened the back cover and disconnect the FRC cable will solve this problem. After reading the service manual. The FRC cable is used for transferring signal from the USB board. I will try to replace the USB board and see what will happen

Do we have update? if the usb board changed will fix the problem?
did you repair customers phone?
After thoroughly test. It's caused by the screen flex cable that crosses up and down. When you move it like open or close the phone it will trigger a short on the circuit. Then the phone shut off by the circuit protection. It can only be fixed by replacing the screen.
Is this something that a Verizon store will fix or can I repair it?
@dickyliang is this something I can fix or do I need to go to the Verizon store?

How did you solve this problem? I have phone with same error, eventually the phone shuts down as it close ...

i'm having the same problem. If plugged in, it works fine. You can open and close the phone and it will stay on. However, the second you unplug it, it turns off. It shows 100% charge. You can't get the phone to start again until you plug it in. Is this the same issue with the screen needing to be replaced? Seems like a dead battery. June 10, 2024 Jerry Ross
