The LG G4 was released in the US in early June 2015, as always focusing on high-end specifications and a refined fashion sense that makes it stand out in the premium smartphone market. Each version of the phone will have a different model number based on if it is sold by a carrier or unlocked (US or International). Some LG G4's are known to have bootloop problems.

Loose part on circuit board

I have an LG G4, and recently I noticed it's not turning on or charging. When I opened it up carefully to access the board, I heard a rattling sound when I shook it. I think a part on the board came loose. What could be the cause of this, and what can be done to fix it. Please help me, because I have some data that I want to retrieve from this phone. Thanks.

Question: Loose part on circuit board

Answer: Do the following steps below. If that doesn't work, you'll have to replace the entire LG phone. Also you can read the user manual that came with it.

Solution:

Start by cleaning the burnt area with a saturated swab or IPA liquid (if it's burnt). Then, use an appropriate razor knife to remove the loose materials from the board. After that, you will have to apply epoxy resin on the damaged parts and reestablish the wiring connections.
