The PlayStation Vita is the successor to the PSP. It contains a beefed up processor and graphics, and includes the addition of a second analog stick. It was released February 15, 2012.

Rajn- you are talking about the black wire? Looks like you bypassed the battery connector and soldered the wires right to the board. We need a close up on the black wire. Need to see what that connection looks like. EDIT your QUESTION and add some pictures to it. Adding images to an existing question
