Why is my Samsung Galaxy A31 screen unresponsive

Hi

I had updated my Samsung and after the update I was unable to access my phone at all. The screen wont even swipe to allow access. Please can someone help me.

Options

Likely means a failed update,

Press your power / sleep button for 10 to 20 seconds.
Release the power button when your Samsung phone restarts. If no joy, press and hold the power button and volume down button simultaneously for about 10 seconds.
Release both buttons when it restarts.This will do a Soft Reset without deleting any data on your device.
