Any recommendations for a where I can get upgrades done?

I want more than the ‘allowable’ upgrades on my iMac 21.5 inch 4k (2019 year). I see through this site alot of people have made the following upgrades and they seem to be the best of the best. i9 9900k CPU, 1 TB SSD, 8TB HDD and 64gb RAM.

I am no where near confident in doing these upgrades myself but was wondering does anyone know a place or someone who would do these upgrades that aren’t your most normal ones to do.

Thanks

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

I think you need to ask around locally to find someone with Mac service skills, sending off your system is not the best way.

Where do you live? Country and newest city maybe we can aim you to someone, but we need to have a clue ;-}

I’m near St. Louis, MO USA. I’ve contacted most of the local Mac repair and upgrade shops in my area and I’m getting a lot of ‘I can’t do this’, ‘We can’t do that but we can do this’ or ‘ Your better off just buying a new one’

From reading the many people on this site who have do what I’m asking for I know it’s possible to do, just have to find someone

@Rachel Randall - I think they are looking at this as a cost factor issue. Putting so much into a system (if you did all of this) would likely be more costly than a new (used) system.

Take a read of the guides we offer, maybe its still something you might want to try iMac Intel 21.5" Retina 4K Display 2019

I would start off on the easer upgrades, RAM and storage (2.5" SSD)
