Can Low temperature Damage iMac screen?

so have iMac in my office where temperature is very low at night. low then 0. today noticed very little white lines on the screen. so think cold will damage screen layer. anyone have same experience? thanks

Options

Your display can be damaged by extreme cold or heat! The L in LCD tells the tale! L for Liquid! So when it freezes or boils it can be damaged.

How to Store an LCD in Freezing Temperatures

I’ve seen MacBook’s damaged being left in cars in the bitter cold, an iMac would be a rarity!

so as I understand -2 celsius can damage display. what is best option to avoid LCD damage?
