Sadly, Apples newer versions of macOS has now enabled display ID check so off brand (non-Apple units) now have issues. Talk with your supplier to see if they offer a solution, otherwise you’ll need to get a recycled real Apple display instead. And no, reverting to an older version won’t fix this. The alteration is within the systems firmware update and you can’t really roll it back.

They said to swap the screen but no guarantee the new one will work, I will go for second hand one I think :)

Any idea where I can get the write part # for my mac book? Found this http://www.powerbookmedic.com/identify-m... but not sure if it's accurate

The link you offered is just to the system ID offering, not the part its self. If you’ve selected the correct system then here is what you need

2016/17 - 13” MacBook Pro Display Assembly:

∙ Space Grey - Apple P/N 661-07970

∙ Silver - Apple P/N 661-07971

As for a source to buy one you could use iFixit MacBook Pro 13" Retina (Late 2016-2017) Display Assembly or BeetsTech BeetsTech 2016/17 screen or TheBookYard UK 2016/17 screens These are my goto places.
