deborah mateo what exact model Chromebook is this? There should be a sticker on the bottom of your Chromebook, let us know what it says.

Most Chromebooks use similar screens - the issue is if it’s LVDS, or iDP in many cases. So say the Dell screen is too expensive - you can often source it from an HP or Asus Chromebook, for example and be fine, as long as you’re okay with an HP SPS# LCD on a Dell Chromebook which had a DP/N identifier.

You can identify if it’s LVDS or iDP from the display model number - you can usually find a datasheet, or a site which tells you which one it has. Now as far as we know we can’t say for sure and it varies wildly in many cases (Ex: HP uses LVDS on Intel, iDP on MediaTek). If you take the bezel off and remove 4 screws, that will do it for many of these Chromebooks.
