look in the contents...or google the name to get ingredients. You may be surprised to find it is mainly water. you wouldn't put the ipod under a tap so probably no..I wouldn't use spray cleaner directly onto the ipod. Lightly moisten a cloth, use sparingly. Use highest % alcohol cleaner you can as it will evaporate quickly and not tend to cause corrosion etc if it gets insider the iphone/ipod

Spray on the cloth like I do
NO! Dont, if you do it tooo much it will sink down under the screen and cause internal water damage!!! I did it and i asked the apple store worker and he told me the same thing!
