Hi there, my Flip Mino HD has a damaged ribbon cable for the USB on the camcorder, I can no longer charge it without the usb. If I can fix the ribbon cable how would I do that, If I need to buy the part where can I buy it from? All help would be appreciated.

You need to find out how many wires are in it than order a roll of flat ribbon cable from Amazon.

I can’t find the right one and the cable is physically attached to the flip out usb of the camcorder.
@TechVid How many wires is in the ribbon?
Alao a picture of that connection will help but it's probably just soldered. The wire can be split apart and soldered into place.
It is a flat flex cable and I am not sure how to do micro soldering nor do I own a soldering iron
Is it true that I can cut the rest of the cable, scratch a little bit of the torn side of the cable until the connectors are showing on both sides of the torn cable and tape them together with both sides touching? Also thanks for not telling me to get a new camcorder, the camcorder is special to me.
