hello Bri,

it looks like a broken connection between the motherboard layers. In this model, the motherboard has a sandwich construction (similar to the X, XS, all 11s). This helps engineers pack more of the electronics they need into a smaller area (like a skyscraper - up on the floors). In large drops, the bond between the layers is broken or otherwise damaged. The whole repair is to unsolder the sandwich, repair the damage and put it all together. Unfortunately, sometimes the damage is deeper and the connection element itself is damaged (we call it "the interposer"). In such cases, technicians advise against replacing or insisting on replacing the entire lower part - with the transplant of integral elements such as baseband, etc. This is due to their ignorance and incompetence. If someone offers you such an operation (cost probably $ 100 or more), know that he has no idea how to fix it. The new interposer costs $ 4.5 to solder it to the installation is another matter. It can be different here (labor costs)

take care,
