Original Apple watch replaced battery issue

I installed an original Apple Watch replacement battery this past Saturday (11/13), calibrated the battery and the watch worked perfectly for two days (I use the watch only to monitor my sleep). After fully charging the watch and wearing it to sleep Monday night, I woke up Tuesday with the watch down to only 10% charge. Chalking it up to a runaway watch app, I rebooted the watch, fully charged it, then wore it to sleep Tuesday night. Wednesday morning, it was almost fully drained again so I decided to unpair it and restore the watch from a backup, then left it plugged into charge. The watch is now showing me an image of the MagSafe charger on the watch face and it turns green as if it were charging, but no matter how long I keep it on the charger, it never charges. FYI: the charger is working, as it charged this original watch as well as my series 4 watch perfectly, so the problem not the charger.

Where did you get the battery?

by

iFixit. Installed it using their replacement kit, also replacing the included force touch sensor.
