Usage of a SSD as an external drive

Hi guys,

My MacBook Air is not starting. the battery charges (the MagSafe turns green), but the MacBook doesn’t start… I really don’t know what’s happening. The Apple authorized dealer (repair) told me that is vintage.

Ok, but I would love to recover files or try to solve the problem. It’s a used MacBook Air but it is very well cared. It is a crime to put it in the garbage!

Can I use the SSD (flash storage with PCIe) installed on this MacBook as an external drive? Is it possible to use it as an external drive or try to use it in another MacBook? What should I do?

Thanks!
