backlight and camera not working after water damage

So i was careless and spilled not a decent amount but not a small amount of liquid and it got into the back of my Macbook Pro so right away i followed ifixits guide and opened the bottom to clean whatever damage was there, after letting it sit i turn it on and it boots up and literally everything works normal and when i shine a bright light up to the screen i can see it displaying normally theres just no backlight (hooking it up to external display shows everything just fine) and when i go to use facetime it says “no camera connected” anyone with knowledge of this can help me?

Both the display assembly as the T-CON is damaged and the iDP display cable which connects the T-CON to the main logic board will be needed as well.

As long as that's all that got wet you're good to go!

Ouch! I’m sure your spill hit the Displays T-CON board which is located along the back edge of the system MacBook Pro 13" (A2338) Display Assembly this is the small board hanging from the display

Otherwise the backlight power logic within the main logic board would be suspect.

So you’ll need to find someone who can check things out to figure out which way.
