Really, what’s up with 3rd-party apple watch screen prices?

The price of 3rd-party replacement screens is often close to the same price that Apple charges for an official repair. Once you add a small labor charge, it often ends up costing more.

4/5 of my customers walk out saying “ I might as well just buy a new one“ and can you blame them? Who wants to pay more for a generic screen?

I’m trying to wrap my mind around the prices of third-party screens because someone must be paying these exorbitant prices or they wouldn’t be selling them, right?

Answer this question I have this problem too

What you are seeing is the evaporation of available product as Apple has worked very hard to lock down the contractors backdoor parts exit.

So now all you’ll find is salvaged screens which are from returned market (when you sell your old watch).

Slowly they are tightening the screws so you have little choice than to buy anew vs repair.
