Pulsating Sleep Light, But Computer Won't Start

My computer stopped working after a coffee spill. So, I took the logic board out, then cleaned it and baked it.

I put the Macbook Core 2 Duo (early 2009) back to gether, and plugged the power adapter to it. Immediately the white light on the front of the machine started to pulsate (which it didn't do before).

I can also hold the power button down to 5 seconds and the pulsating will stop and vice versa.

Is there anything else I can try or is my macbook D.O.A?

Thanks for any and all help :)

You could try a SMC reset. Instructions here. Good luck.

Bummer. I'd take the whole thing apart again and reconnect everything. How did you clean the LB? I use 99% proof isopropanol and dry very thoughly. Perhaps you've been too quick. Give the LB a good look with a strong magnifier to check for soiled/burnt components.
