WT7100CW stuck with the error code CL

I have a LG TOP load model no. WT7100CW stuck with the error code CL. The manual says the same thing @dkups77 suggested, but there is no Control Lock button on my model. I've tried unplugging and holding start button five seconds, nothing. STILL STUCK!! Any suggestions?

According to the manual for your washer on p.29 it says:

Press and hold the Extra Rinse button for 3 seconds to activate or deactivate Control Lock.

I finally realized the Child Lock, or Control Lock error code can be turned off on my top loading washer by holding the button labeled Extra Rinse for 3 seconds. The asterisk below the words Extra Rinse says Control Lock in small text.

Saved me! My LG CL switch is the signal button. Also has an Asterix and child lock in small print. The manual on it was wrong. Funny I didn’t notice the child lock underneath until you mentioned it.
