Why is my screen not working?

So my Game boy had the problem where some of the lines in the screen wouldn’t show up, so I tried fixing it. After a while though the screen stopped turning on and I can’t find out the problem. When the switch isn’t all the way on it shows some lines lit up so I know the screen works somewhat. Also, the noise plays when I turn it on so I know that it is working. I tested the contrast wheel and it appears to be working. Please help me with my problem.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Well the thing is that I would have tried this already if I could have found a screen planel individualy without the PCB.

Yes I understand but the issue still is that this is a screen error.

@oldturkey03 I'm not sure if its the screen anymore, because I saw a capacitor that looks burnt out, so I tested it and I think it's broken.

Sean29 lets try and figure this one out. Post some good pictures of your board and also point out where you found that burned component
