Why does it jump from optical to Bluetooth?

I have an LG SL2 soundbar connected to my LG OLed tv via an optical cable. The problem I have is when my neighbour directly below me tries to pair her headphones to her soundbar my s/bar jumps from optical to Bluetooth !! Does anyone know how to get around this?

Hi,

Did you mean an LG SJ2 soundbar? I cannot find any information regarding an SL2 model.

I don’t know the soundbar but here’s a section from the SJ2 user manual that may help.

I think it means that you can lock the BT function so that no one else can pair with the device accidentally. If I’m reading it correctly you switch the soundbar to BT mode and then enable the lock function. Presumably then you can switch back to the optical input.
