Does the Mako Driver Kit contain the tools need to repair the SX-70?

The SX-70 requires a 1mm by 1mm square screw driver. I’m not sure whether the Square screw driver in the “Mako Driver Kit - 64 Precision Bits” contains the tool I need? Could someone confirm “Square 1” is 1mm by 1mm?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hey, Garry! After some extensive research I can confirm that the square 1 bit in the Mako Driver Kit is NOT 1mm by 1mm. That said, the square 1 bit is about 2mm by 2mm, twice the size of the square bit needed for the SX-70.

As an added bonus, I also found 2 store page links that sell this particular screwdriver bit:

  1. Here is one on eBay...
  2. and another from Etsy

the eBay one uses a circular screwdriver socket, yet more easily available, while the Etsy one uses the standard 1/4" hex shank, but it's low in stock.

I hope you find this helpful!
