2002 dial style whirlpool dishwasher wont progress

I have an older (2002) whirlpool dishwasher. It has pushbuttons & a dial starts the cycle. It is getting stuck in each cycle and I had to manually advance it.

What is the model number of the dishwasher?

Does it always stop at the same point in the cycle?
