My phone is constantly overheationg, how can I fix that?

Ever since replacing my Pixel 3’s battery my phone is overheating constantly, I’m guessing this is because in order to replace the battery I had to remove part of the thermal sticker that connected the battery to the main board (As seen in Step 13 of the battery replacement). When I did this step I wasn’t able to remove the sticker from the battery and just ended up tearing the sticker off the battery.

What can I do to fix this? What can I add in the phone to help my phone’s thermals now that that this thermal sticker is damaged?

Have you had any luck finding the thermal tape for the battery? I have the same issue and have held off reassembling my phone for the time being. It's possible there won't be an issue with overheating but if there is I would rather not find out after sealing it all back up.

That was what I ended up doing, and it didn't fix it perfectly, but it definitely improved the problem!
