miswiring check wiring then pwr on

A simple installation in a 1995 jeep wrangler.   Kenwood KMR-D562BT.  The radio runs perfectly with ignition in "Accessory" position.   It also works perfectly in the "ignition ON position.  But 2-3 minutes after I start the engine I get MISWIRING CHECK WIRING THEN POWER ON.  I have tried "reset" I have checked to no avail to see what is the difference in power in or out between ignition ON and engine running.  Nope.   I cleaned all the little wires running to the circuit board. Nope  Mysterious.

It could be an interference problem since it only happens with the engine running. Make sure you have all the speaker wires and there terminals insulated.

Thanks Chris. That's what the manual says as well. The wires going to the plug at the radio are firmly engaged in the plug and their insulation is intact down to the plug face. Does this mean i need to start pulling out speaker wiring? What if I disconnected all but one speaker at a time and see if i can isolate which one is the source of the problem? Ian

@ianmw Yes. That is what I would do.
