If your Android phone isn't ringing when someone calls, the cause could be user- or software-related. You can troubleshoot whether your Android isn't ringing due to a user-related issue by checking whether the device is silent, in Airplane Mode or is Do Not Disturb enabled.

Check the device type on the top right of this page.
Uniden phones do not use Android OS. So although they have a "Do Not Disturb" or "Silent" feature the OP has indicated that the ringer is on. Also they do not have an Airplane mode feature as they are a landline type phone, either portable phones or wired phones and not a mobile phone.

What is the model number of the phone? (If a portable phone look on the bottom of the base station or under the battery in the phone. If a wired phone check on the bottom of the phone).
