My phone will randomly lock my screen and rapidly
For the last few days out of no where my phone ( Galaxy A30) will lock and unlock itself as if the power button has been pressed, and will act as if the button keeps getting clicked, the screen will start flashing rapidly when it does this, the power button doesn't feel stuck or anything, so my first thoughts is that the problem is a software issue, I've turned it on is safe mode, wiped cache partition, and finally I've done a factory reset, I can't find any other problems quite like this. I have tried keeping the device turned off for a while and fully charging the phone, but it keeps doing the same thing, if anyone has any ideas what could help me resolve this, I would appreciate this, So I can know what to get fixed. Please. Thank You.
Is this a good question?

Does the phone ever randomly try and turn on? The power button might be broken, but it might be a software or processor issue

Is your phone a Samsung Galaxy A50 or A30?

@teardowns101 I'm really hoping it's a powerbutton issue, cus a processor issue means the phone's done for right?

@Jerry Oti Yes, if the processor is having an issue it is almost certainly unfixable (unless you buy a used processor and board). However, it is much more likely that the power button was damaged and needs replacing
