How can I fix inverted colors?

The television is a Samsung tv from 2008 model number LN37A450C1D

It randomly inverted colors right while I was using it. I tried the settings and all but nothing worked.

Hi,

It seems that there is a solarization problem.

Here’s a video that may help you to find the problem.

Did you check out the video?

Yes, I did view the video. I don't think the problem is solarization, what i see is directly inverted colors, not altered in the way the video showed. of course, i'm probably wrong cause I'm not good with televisions. thank you for your help!

To me it seems more like a Contrast problem.

Look at the first image in this link (the two images side by side - best I could find at short notice) where you can see the difference what excessive contrast does.

I realize that you said that you checked/adjusted the settings and it made no difference but whatever components control the contrast signals to the screen may be going out of spec as being intermittent it probably means that it is failing or heat affected.

I'm not sure if this would be a mainboard or tcon board problem though.

The mainboard sends the video signals to the tcon board which converts them so that they display correctly on the LCD panel i.e. which pixels to turn on and how bright they are etc. So it could be in either board.
