Battery not charging, multimeter tests on mainboard

I suddenly found my Note 10 lite was completely unresponsive to charging cables, on or off, though was working fine with the remaining charge in the battery.

Initially thought it was probably the sub board with the mic, so changed it for a cheap replacement, but still doesn’t work. Now I’ve been playing around with the multimeter comparing it to this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IrwH55j8...

It seems sub board and the cable are ok, but if you go to 5:03 I don’t get anything with the same test on the mainboard (it does register when I check the other side of the port). Is it likely to be a broken solder? Is it likely there’s anything I could do to repair it?

Answer this question I have this problem too

From what you described it sounds like a big problem that can't be resolved. Since the cable and the sub board are ok the only big problem is the motherboard port. If the circuit between the motherboad and the main cable port doesn't register then there's a probability that the port is dead, you phone is bricked. Best thing you can do is to get a new motherboard. A main board to be exact. With the battery that is remaning transfer ASAP your data. But by the time your reading this I think it's scrapped for sure.

I am suffering from the same problem I took the phone apart and installed it again. It shows me the charger sign now but it is not charging I hope you will answer me. Is it possible that the problem is from the motherboard?
