Why did the back light burn out

i have a 2018 Samsung un55nu7100f tv and when half the screen went black one day we called Samsung and they reimbursed us but then my parents said if i could fix it i could keep is so i toke it apart and removed the burnt out leds but before i replace it i want to know why they burnt out and prevent it from happening again

LED burnout is very common and somewhat unavoidable. After replacing the LEDs, try to turn your TV's brightness down, as it will put less stress on the LEDs.

I have a complete screen blackout but if you shine flashlight?on screen you can see picture playing behind it. Is that something can be fixed with replacing LEDs?

@Ruth Smith That could be a backlight, T-Con, or PSU problem. If you want to talk about it, you can create a separate question.
