replaced battery get error code 1604 when trying to restore phone

replaced the battery and every thing seem to go to great. plugged the phone into electric charger and the apple screen came on then sated plug into iTunes so I did this the apple screen appeared again. itunes opened and said the phone needed to be restored. I clicked restore it downloaded the software then sated preparing to restore phone. it runs a few minutes then states there was and error 1604. I looked that up and it said it was the usb cord but I have tried 2 cords that were both working before and get the same results
