Bios showing write protected error

Whenever I start my laptop it opens in bootmode and if o try to exit it it' shows that it is write protected

Please tell me a solution sir.

Hi,

When in BIOS, look through the BIOS menus and check that it shows that it has detected the HDD.

If there isn’t a HDD listed in BIOS you need to check if the HDD is connected OK. Can you hear the HDD spin up when the laptop is first started?

Here’s the hardware maintenance manual for the laptop. Go to p.46 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove the HDD. This will allow you to check if it is connected OK and also if you can hear or “feel” it spinning.

If the BIOS does show the HDD then perhaps the HDD boot information is missing or corrupted. Here’s a link that may help with this.

Try updating the BIOS from a USB flashdrive and see if that works

I had somethinig similar. What helped in my case was "Load BIOS defaults"...
