Stuck in Bootcamp: cannot reset OS at startup

hey guys - i am having issue with my internal keyboard that is being overwritten by my external keyboard so i cannot, at startup, press the option key to go back to my MAC OS….therefore i am stuck with WINDOWS.

Does anyone know, at WINDOWS via terminal or whatnot, make the machine select the MAC OS as default? im so desparate that it d be ok with deleting windows altogether…assuming i can go back to my MAC OS. again…keyboard isnt working properly…even with an external one i cannot press some keys (apparently) at startup…

please help! thanks a bunch

While I can’t help you over come the stuck keyboard input. I might be able to offer a way to get to your apps and data from a second Mac connected in target Disk Mode

See if you can get that far. As it sounds like you’ll need to get a new system as the cost t fix your system maybe too expensive.

bummer! would you say that to try and look for the fault in the logic board is a bit farfetched at this point?

is there a way that i can reset the mac entirely (delete everything) without pressing the R key at startup (remember i have an issue with the keyboard + stuck at windows booting by default) :)

many many thanks!

@amendes - Sorry I can't see ant way without keyboard access. I think it's time to find someone with deeper pico soldering skills.
