I have a custom build Blue mirrored phone that had mild water damage, I took it apart and cleaned it, when I put it back together I got no display but everything appeared to work, so I replaced the display and it's working just great.
What i would like to know is there anyway to repair the water damage on the display, I cleaned all the contacts and can see no damage to the ribbon.
Is this a good question?

Hello,
It's honestly not worth trying to repair an old screen. You will likely always have mineral deposits and such within the screen.
Consider is a cheap fix for an expensive phone.

yeah even if it did work, you would most likely see water spots on the screen.
