Game Card Will not Work in any System

So I have a copy of Tomodachi Life that whenever I start it says “ An error has occurred. Hold down the POWER Button to turn off the power, then turn it on and try again. For help, visit support.Nintendo.com.” Here is a picture of the error -

I don’t think this is the system because all of my other games work fine and it does this in multiple systems. I opened the cartridge to see if one of the pins were disconnected, but I didn’t see anything. Here is the board -

Does anyone know why this is happening and what I could do about it? Thank you.

EDIT: Here is an image of it running on a 2DS as well.

Have you tried cleaning the contact tabs? I have fixed many carts by doing the following. Use a pencil erasure to carefully rub the contacts, length ways NOT cross ways. Keep at it until they look cleaner. Then use 90+% IPA or contact cleaner to finish.

I have never come across a cart for any system ever that was just plain dead. I’m sure it can happen though. I have however encountered many that were dirty in one way or another (just plain filth, and or corrosion), cleaning has fixed every single one so far.

Just tried to fix it with the eraser, I had already used alcohol but did it again for safe measure. No different result, still immediately goes to the screen.

Check every leg on each side of the chip for movement. Nintendo soldering is known to crack over time. Use a pair of fine tweezers or a pin to put slight sideway pressure on each leg. If one moves it needs re soldered. Check every leg.

Also check both capacitors beside the main chip in case one has shorted to ground.

Looking at the cartridge internals picture, it looks like the connecter pins are very worn out. If you have any kind of material that can cover and connect the pins [liquid copper, copper tape] try to use that, then try the cart. out in a 3DS or 2DS.

The following image attached helps highlight how worn the pins are. Over time, due to inserting and ejecting these carts, the pins do wear out over time.

Hope this helps!

BTW: If the pins are badly worn out, the connections may not work right.

I have the same problem with one of my cartridges, so you'd recommend copper tape?

For badly worn pins, copper tape should help
