My MacBook air A2179 screen went blank. How do I fix it?

I was able to go to recovery assistant using VoiceOver but the screen will only show a faint backlight

Now I’m stuck at Recovery Assistant Voice Over. Screen only has a faint backlight.

Otherwise its going take someone with deeper skills to fix your system.

Reseting SMC did not work. Is this problem related to Flexgate?

@soumitrokumar - Flex-Gate was a MacBook Pro issue, not the Air's as the ribbon cable was too short. Your issue is deeper within the logic board's backlight logic.
