Weird display inverting issue..

Hello,

My MBP display has some form of random inverting isssue..

My first thought was that it may of been the iSight/Inverter cable, so I replaced that, along with another display cable at the same time, but no good..I have just replaced the LCD/Inverter board, and still no good..I suspect its something to do with the grounding of the display somewhere, because if I apply pressure to the back of the display, it comes good..

I have attached a couple links to show you what I mean

Its very frustrating! If I don't apply pressure to the back bezel, its always inverted/flickering.. I can sometimes find a sweet spot by leaning it against a wall somewhere, but that defeats the purpose of this machine then doesnt it?!

Any help would be appreciated...

Thanks

From your description it is possible that the LVDS connection on the display is unsound. Disassemble and have a good hard look. You'll find the guide by clicking on the model name on the top right of this page.

Well yeah I actually replaced that cable initially (this is the display cable right?) but it made no difference...so I'm guessing it could be the circuitry on the LCD? :( Maybe I could somehow chock something in there?
