So I have a D-link wireless router DI-524 and for some problem the status and wlan parts of the router seem to keep blinking/ flashing continuously and i cant seem to connect directly to the internet with the blue cable. I have to use another internet cable instead.

Jordan, can you please explain a little more about the "another internet cable instead."

Status LED – a blinking light indicates that the DI-524 is functioning properly. WLAN LED – a solid light indicates that the wireless

segment is ready. This LED blinks during wireless data transmission. Have you tried a reset of your router?
