Wireless Charging NOT WORKING

iPhone 8 wireless charging Not working!

The phone charge normally with the USB charging cable, but when i put in the wireless charger it does not charge.

The FPC connector good not damaged. All caps are good no damage and no short.

Sometimes the phone turns off randomly even with Brand new good quality battery.

Any suggestion what to look for? Should i change the wireless charging IC?

Have you tried it in a known good housing?

@imicrosoldering Yes! The same. I assume it's a board level problem. But on the iPhone 8 the is NO schematic. :( Hard to rack down the charging lines.

There is plenty of iPhone 8 schematics, if you don’t want to pay for zxw or wxj you can download refox from rewa.

There might not be iPhone 8 schematics out there but there are iPhone 8 plus schematics which will have the same wireless charging circuit. Before you start replacing chips I would take some multimeter measurements.

You need to follow the voltage from the coil to the diodes than to the wireless charging IC than to Tigris. If it is making it to U3400 but not Tigris I would check R3410 and R3420. If it is making it to Tigris I would look at Tigris and Hydra as I think Hydra has to okay this circuit. One of these two IC’s could be causing the phone to restart as well.
