no picture after shipping computer

Computer was working fine prior to shipping it by

US Mail. It was well packed but outer box was damaged. Now there is no picture on screen although I hear the normal startup sounds from the computer. I dismantled computer using the steps provided down through the logic board. All connections appeared OK and I was sure to reseat them all when reassembling the computer. Is there any way to test for display signals from the logic board? I have a good oscilloscope and other test equipment. The screen appears completely blank. I have not opened the display screen yet. Is there a most likely candidate for this problem?

I'd hope that the mail company is insured for this and that the damage to the parcel was noted when you signed for it? It'd be a good place to start in paying for repairs..
