My camera will no longer take a charge; New NikonBatteries charged

My P510 stopped turning on. Registered message batteries not charged and shut down. It was working normally; batteries (new Nikons in 2021) charged up fully as usual; last photos taken were perfect. GPS no longer works but Nikon says that there is no new firmware supporting that function in this camera.

Not giving up I tried to see if the camera was the problem or if it was something other than the connectors I was using. Turns out it was my replacement charger, a Kaspar charger that was the problem. The diode indicator was green indicating a full charge for batteries in it. A small piece of folded paper or cardboard stuck in beside the battery in the socket makes the diode go to red because the battery was not charged. Then it turns green after a few hours because the batteries were really depleted. All is well!

And, my P510 is working on all features so far with no issue! Yay!
