Do I get a "service battery" after replacing it with an ifixit one?

Hi, i need to replace my battery and i am wondering if you still get the service battery if i use a third party battery, like the one from ifixit?

By “service battery” are you referring to the service battery on iPhones and iPads? That is not really a thing on macs. It shouldn’t show up as long as you get a battery from any reputable seller.

When you check the battery health...

@barry99 Sorry about the first response. I misread your question but I revised my answer and if you have the laptop you say you do on iFixit the check battery health is not an option so you don't have to worry about that. Apple only checks for battery originality on Macs with thunderbolt 3 or newer.
