Bluetooth not working on right side, both sides work when using cable

I have a Motorola Pulse Escape over-ear headphone.

Since a couple of days the right side does not work anymore over bluetooth (no sound at all, sound only on the left side), but works without problems when connected via cable (standard mini jack connector).

I checked the pins on the mini jack plug and they seem to work as expected (connected when no cable is in, disconnected when cable is plugged in) and are not stuck.

I was unable to find how to reset the bluetooth (pressing all three of power/vol down/vol up for 10 seconds did not work like other Motorola devices).

Any additional suggestions on what to check?

Thank you in advance!

There is a loose connection. The solution is to track it down.

It could be a corroded jack or plug which is what the wiggle might fix. That could affect right, left, or both.

It could be a broken wire in or near the plug - most likely.

It could be a broken wire on the right headphone or the wire that goes around in the headgear or where the cable goes into the headphone.

You just have to find which one it is without breaking something else.

You must try to pair it with another device to determine if it is the headphones or the transmitting device.

Thank you, I tried to pair it to different devices (computer, iPad, Android phone) and with all I have the same problem.

I have the same issue with my right headphone. A couple of times the right side started working again after I connected and disconnected the headphones via cable. Other people that have the same problem say that sometimes they have to wiggle the jack inside the headphones port for like 5 minutes before this "starts" the side that's not working (it would even work if they have issue with the left side, not just the right side).
