Other touch? Why do you think it's the chip and not connections/parts etc

Because I have 3 other touch sceens and none work so i am guessing it's the chip that needs replacing, I have parts on another logic board but I cannot find any diagrams or photo's to show me where the sensor controller chip is so I can take it off and replace it to see if thats the problem. So if you know where I can find a diagram would be great !

it might be the flex cable that connects the digitiser to the main logic board. I'm trying to replace mine..you can buy them (the flex with digitiser/wifi board) but it's the "sticking down" at the logicboard end I'm trying to work on..it's not soldered, it seems to be glued. I'll let you know how I get on but the part I just received was used so I'm waiting for another new one. It may be a whole lot easier than trying to get a chip and replace it!

Yeah, I also have no idea and have the same problem as the sticky pad at the end needs to fit on the pads or it probably won't work right. Found any solution yet for this ?
